I rented an office at The Commons during a transitional period, and it was definitely the right call! The space itself is thoughtfully designed: quiet when you need to focus, social when you need a break, and never the sterile, fluorescent-lit experience you get at the bigger chains. They are very accommodating re. the room’s design and allowing you to make it your own. Also, being open 24/7 during my transitional period was so valuable and provided the perfect environment for deep, concentrated work.
Buuuut, what really sets The Commons apart is the people, starting with Jeannie. She runs the place with a kind of personal warmth that's rare in any business, let alone coworking — she knows your name, she remembers what you're working on, she stays in contact whenever you need something, and she somehow makes a shared workspace feel like a community you actually want to be part of.
The building has character. The amenities work. The vibe is exactly what you want when you're trying to do real work without the soul-crushing feeling of a corporate office or the endless distractions of your personal life.
If my circumstances ever change and I need a space again, I know exactly where I am looking! I can't recommend this group highly enough ***11/10*** :)
