First time buyers. Toured a house in Waldo and liked it. Our Nest KC agent immediately pushed us to “go in strong, no inspection” so we could “win.” When we asked about risks, they brushed it off and said “that’s how KC works right now.” We got a second opinion and backed out. Felt like they cared more about closing fast than protecting us. A good agent educates, not pressures.

We were ready to put in an offer on a Brookside home. Our agent from Nest KC said they’d submit it by 5pm. At 6:30pm they texted “sorry, got busy” and the house went under contract with another buyer. We lost out because of their delay. When we raised the issue, the team lead never called back. For the biggest purchase of my life, I expect basic follow-through.
