Eureka Garage Sale & Swap at 6 Flags 3/5/22 from 7 AM to 3 PM. They have rules posted on their website for this event. The rules state; no vehicle traffic in the vendor area between 6:15 AM and 3 PM. Yet they don't enforce the rules. Vendors were packing at 12:30 PM, vendors were driving in and out of the area by 1:00 PM. They were charging $10.00 per vehicle admission, while vendors were packing to leave at 12:30 PM. This is a huge ripoff for people who were still arriving. It was windy on this date, but it was in the 70s. There was no weather conditions that the vendors should be packing to leave at 12:30 PM. This was the 1st and last time we attend this event. It just was not worth the 10 bucks you pay per vehicle for admission. They also charge their Garage Sale vendors way to much. For the items these vendors are selling, they should not be charged more than $50.00 for their space. They could attract more vendors, have better quality items, if they were not charging them so much for a space. These people are getting charged almost $100.00 for a 1 day event. If they have garage sale items, too much of the sales goes for space fee, gas to the event, plus vendors time. What could they possibly have left on their sales after paying this? Also they pay in advance, so if the day gets rained out, their money is not refunded. This is a lose, lose, situation for the attendees and the vendors. A waste of time to sell or attend at this event!

We have been doing your yard sale many years now and as long as the weather conditions are good. It is the best sale of the year. Always friendly well run. Everyone we talk to loved it. Thank you for another awesome year. You should put another one in the fall maybe another place because of six flags. Thanks again.

I've been a Eureka Chamber member for a few years now and think it is one of the best places for a local business to get plugged into. The people are easy going and there is always a good variety of events I can get involved in. My business has personally benefitted from $$ referrals which I can contribute to my involvement in the Eureka Chamber.
