I was in Columbia for an event that had a morning and evening session and wanted a place to work. First thought, coffee shop, but we know how annoying that would be. Discovered Villageco Work with a Google search and with the exception of parking, it was ideal! Facility awesome. Staff awesome. Coffee included.
Whether I was putting in a full day, or just looking to setup for a few hours, Village was always a productive and relaxed space to be. Loved the location too with plenty of good coffee and lunch spots nearby. Inside, I always enjoyed taking in the art work and beautiful plants, which provided great pondering when I needed a break from my screens. Kitchenette also solid for those on a budget with coffee, snacks, and BYOL abilities. Last but not least, a shout out to the owners – super friendly and passionate about what they do and were always happy to help or to make a connection.
The Village workspace is one my favorite places in Columbia! I love being able to show up and soak in the calm and aesthetically pleasing environment. The space is beautiful, clean and stocked with essentials like tea and light snacks. It is always so warm and inviting, and I feel especially focused and motivated when I am there. The plants help me feel relaxed and the ample lighting is never harsh or overbearing. The intriguing decor is not overboard but just enough to stimulate. It is energizing and seems to foster creativity and ingenuity. There is so much attention to detail paid to make the space just right. As someone who is greatly benefitted by a soft, welcoming and well maintained environment, I am so very happy the Village workspace opened up. I hope to be visiting for many years to come!
