Loved it! A beautiful space with cool vibes. Inclusive. This would be a great space to chill near their coffee shop and pick up a book or zine.
Incredible place full of art and culture! The art store has zines, stickers, linoprints, risoprints and printing supplies. The book store has a lot of poetry and books with social commentary.
tl;dr: A very interesting co-op style space with a number of literary related tenants. What is it?: A cooperative space that contains many fantastic entities regarding community and focusing on literature. Service and Price: Open Book itself is not the business, unless you seek to find a little office space for your venture. I don’t pursue such activities, so the prices are beyond my knowledge. Location and Parking: Open Book is located very close to the I-94 and I-35 interchange, just a stone’s throw from the Viking stadium. It is on a pretty busy divided street, so be aware that a U-turn might be necessary. There is a parking lot but considering how big the parent building is and how many people work and visit, you will be lucky if you score a parking spot in their lot. The parking lot is flat and generally well kept, and the building is wheelchair accessible. Interior: The building is a restoration, and the interior is very well done. The exposed beams and brick give a rustic vibe that millennials love. Original wood flooring throughout the building adds to the ambiance. They also did a great job with making the main atrium well-lit and comfortable. Overall: Open Book is a unique space. It’s like a co-op for literature and literature related topics. I call it a co-op because it houses several different literary-centric enterprises. The main enterprises it hosts are Milkweed Books, the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, FRGMNT Coffee, and The Loft. There are a few other tenants that occupy the building as well. Each of them contributes to the overall utility of the building in their own ways, and each of them offer unique experiences in a fun way.
So cool, loved their exhibit on zines and art books. Plus the gift shop is a treasure trove.

Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Open Book.
