Friendly and accommodating workplace. I have been renting both virtual and in person offices from Regus in the last 9 years. It’s been a wonderful experience. The front desk staff at Eden Prairie location are prompt and professional.

My wife called and asked about potentially renting a couple offices for our business. During the phone call she was quoted office prices of about $550 per month. With the options for month-to-month leases. This was a very attractive number and we scheduled a visit. The office manager was very nice, but the first office he showed us was $1500 a month. The second office was $1700 a month. The cheapest office was very small, in the center of buildings at about $500. It was a very clear bait and switch operation as we had no idea of the massive cost ranges with the various offices. We drove an hour and a half to visit, and we were quite surprised to realize that most of the offices were over double what was quoted. The waiting room, for 90 offices had four chairs and two small private spaces. It’s simply did not seem adequate for the number of officers in the building. Overall, the offices were lovely, beautiful views, and the people were friendly, but the way they go about recruiting clients felt very shady.

Regus operates with an auto-renewal policy that can catch tenants off guard if they're not fully informed. Within my first two months, my lease was automatically extended for six additional months at a 30% higher rate, something I didn’t realize was part of the contract terms. When I later asked about renewal options, I was informed that the lease had already been extended, with no room for negotiation. Although I understand the contract’s terms, it would be helpful if these significant renewal conditions were highlighted more directly during the signing process. Another aspect to consider is the restoration fee, which applies uniformly regardless of the office's initial condition. In my case, the office hadn’t been cleaned or painted before I moved in, yet the same restoration fee applied when I asked about it. This experience isn’t unique to me; I’ve spoken to other tenants with similar concerns. In short, carefully reading the contract is crucial to avoid unexpected costs and terms. For those who prefer a flexible, negotiable lease arrangement, it may be worth considering other options. I’ll be finishing the remainder of my term, as early termination is not allowed. *Update: after three months of negotiating, they agreed to lower the rate by 25%. However, they charged a card I hadn't authorized for three months at the lower rate even though I had already paid those three months at the higher rate, then they held my refund from the three months I'd paid for two weeks.
