The Aspen House has been a wonderful find for our family. My partner and I had not used childcare prior to coming to Aspen House, but the warmth and responsiveness of the staff quickly put us at ease. We’ve been coming weekly since the business opened, and even though it’s over an hour’s drive each way, it’s absolutely worth it. Our three-year-old loves the outdoor play, the caregivers, and the chance to connect with other kids. On the way to Aspen House today, she said, “It’s kind of like home, but with lots of other friends there!” and I couldn’t agree more. The co-working space is clean, calm, and well-designed, which lets me focus on work while still being able to be involved in caring for my kids just one room over. I can take breaks from work to play with them and then head back to work, knowing that they're well cared for. The experience really is tailored to each family’s needs, and we feel lucky to be coming to a space that supports our whole family so well.

We're from Arizona and we have been itching to spend more time in Michigan with our family each year. As first time parents both working full time, we were so nervous about finding good, reliable childcare while juggling our work obligations. We kept thinking about just taking a week off to come up to Michigan and then heading back home to Arizona. Then, we found out about the Aspen House, and we were able to extend our trip from a week to over a month! My husband and I would alternate or both bring our daughter to the Aspen House each day. We loved the space, the activities for our daughter, and most importantly, the people. We felt so at home this summer and we are already planning our next trip back. We can't thank Kendall and her team enough for creating a space like this that supports our whole family. We can't wait to see everyone again this fall!

Our family loves coming to The Aspen House. The children’s space is so inviting, and the staff are warm and kind. I’m always nervous initially leaving my babies with anyone but I feel so comfortable trusting the folks here, and I love that we are able to be onsite working at the same time. Our toddler is sad whenever it’s time to go home!

This is without a doubt the kindest, most committed daycare center for parents in the modern age. My wife and I have been taking our eleven month old here for a few weeks, and we feel so fortunate to have found this place. She gets the best care, is given great time in nature and the outdoors, strong developmental activities, and time with other children of different ages. The staff is flexible with our schedule, and we've gotten so much work done and have been so productive having this center as our primary care. We hope everyone with children and a need for this sort of care has the opportunity to join Aspen House.

The Aspen House is a life-changer. After leaving my full time job in 2024 due to childcare concerns (lack of availability being the biggest one) to start my own business, I've been very lucky to be able to spend so much time with my child. But I am also running a business entirely by myself and The Aspen House has allowed me the peace of mind to drop off my toddler, sit down and get some focused work done in a wonderfully cozy and loving space, and know that he's just right there, with wonderful humans looking after him while he plays both independently and with other children. I am so thankful that this space exists--even if it is a bit of a drive from our home! And I cannot recommend it enough to remote or nomadic workers with littles.
