It's a nice, large station, with mostly cafes and small exhibitions. Unfortunately, for some reason, you can't enter the main hall, as it's roped off. However, the hall itself is incredibly impressive. I think it's worth seeing.

From seeing the abandoned shell for years, it was such a delight to see it restored. Looking forward to future visits.

The Detroit People Mover is free! We took a couple laps then got off at Grand Circus Park and went to The Tin Roof for lunch.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • To truly understand what The Mezz - Michigan Central Station has to offer, we recommend scheduling a tour to get a firsthand feel of the environment and amenities. Fill out this form to let us know the date and time that works for you, and we'll be happy to show you around.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with The Mezz.

  • Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.

While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, The Mezz may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.

  • If you’re seeking flexible access, the monthly membership at The Mezz - Michigan Central Station provides 24/7 access to our workspace. Hourly and day passes, however, are typically limited to regular business hours.
