Regus is a good option for professionals looking for workspace with flexible terms and supportive staff

This is absolutely the worst company ever dealt with in my career. They have the worst customer service I've ever encountered. What they really are good at are hiding fees and renewing you annually without any heads up. You will spend hours, and I mean literally spend hours just trying to find a phone number of someone to talk to. I don't recommend this company in any way whatsoever. You should do your homework because there are other office spaces that are up to 60% less and you'll be dealing with people, that you can actually have a conversation with and are transparent on their contracts. REGUS DETROIT, REGUS CORPORATION ACTS LIKE A SCAM! The BBB will tell the truth. Read for yourself what they've done to people. Shameful!

The Renaissance Building is beautiful! If you get a working office with a view of downtown or the water it can be magnificent. However Regus as a corporation is quite disorganized. They have a lot of hidden fees and unresponsive staff. The staff as the Detroit location are nice but often claim not knowing information. Regus suddenly charges a bunch of fees and then they claim it was a mistake but it takes a long time and multiple emails and calls to try to get it corrected. They also more than once failed to refund the correct amount. It’s not worth the headache. Even when you cancel and request it in writing they keep billing you. The service of Regus as a corporation is quite terrible! Even after I ended my membership and didn’t owe anything they kept sending me threatening collection emails and saying past due fees were due. It took three months for them to finally fix it and stop harassing me! STAY AWAY!!!

If you want to go bankrupt, choose Regus. They will send random invoice to you and change you retainer every month.

Not sure, what's going on with Regus business practices but you renewed me without my permission with an increase. You opened a ticket and closed it in your favor how convenient.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • Regus - Detroit - RenCen operates during regular business hours, which are listed above. For any requests or requirements outside of these hours, please contact the coworking operator directly.

  • At Regus - Detroit - RenCen, Private Offices and Dedicated Desks can be booked on a monthly basis.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Regus, who is more than happy to help out.
