Rented a mailbox here, no attention to detail. Constantly getting charged storage fees for stuff I’ve already picked up. They don’t scan your mail into the website accurately. I’ve shown up to pick up my mail during business hours just for the place to be locked up with no notice… etc. Don’t waste your time or money.

very disappointed. I rented a mailbox and the manager was rude and not helpful. I asked a basic question about how the process worked and was told that the manager wasn't "obligated" to help me!!!

I am utterly disappointed with the service I received from this company. Initially, I diligently picked up my mail on time and even signed in their book as required. However, just a few days later, I started receiving messages informing me of storage charges. When I reached out to the office, I was promised a call back, only to be asked the next day, "What do you want me to do?" The person on the phone had no solution and casually suggested marking my mail for shredding if the charges persisted. To my dismay, a month later, I was informed that the charges would not be waived. This entire ordeal is outrageous. I am appalled that I am being blamed for not explicitly informing them of my intention to pick up my mail. This has undoubtedly been the worst experience I've ever had entrusting someone to handle my mail. I feel utterly scammed and betrayed by this company. Consequently, I will no longer trust them with my mail or any other aspect of my business. Avoid this company at all costs!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.

  • With a monthly membership, Cocoon Detroit - 2785 East Grand Boulevard offers 24/7 access to its workspace, allowing you to work at any hour that suits your schedule. Hourly and day passes, however, typically grant access during regular business hours only.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Cocoon Detroit, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Please reach out to Cocoon Detroit for more detailed information on membership options and pricing.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
