Coworkhers - 411 Congress Street

I had a dedicated desk at CoworkHers from July-the end of September 2026 & had a great experience. It was my first time utilizing a coworking space & the flexibility for me to come during off-hours was tremendously beneficial. The price was very reasonable, and the space as a whole is really well done. I missed out on the social aspects of the office because I was removed a bit from the other desks, but that was ideal as far as productivity on my end goes. There were a number of opportunities to meet other members that I wish I had taken advantage of, but if/when I come back, that will be something I will put an effort into. It seemed like the "regulars" all had a great rapport with one another, and the ability to network/meet likeminded people feels like the driving force in fostering this community. Thank you Heather for making this resource available to the Portland community at such an accessible rate. I'm hoping to come back once business picks up again!

Love the space and the concept. The meeting room we rented was a good size, comfortable, and gave the four of us plenty of room to work and move around comfortably for 2.5 days. That said, the overall space really needs a deep clean and some decluttering. The kitchen and bathroom in particular were very cluttered and visibly dirty, which became distracting throughout our stay. There was hair on the bathroom floor, and the toilet had what appeared to be dried yellow residue/puddles that definitely needed attention. The kitchen also felt cluttered and in need of a thorough cleaning. I think the space has a lot of potential and is otherwise a great coworking environment, but a serious deep clean and some organization/decluttering would make a huge difference. The physical space is lovely but the cleanliness and amount of visual clutter just took away from the experience.

I am pretty upset with the way this all turned out. I have spent the better half of the last 4-5 hours trying to print a couple of documents and the direction given online in the write up under "Printing" did absolutely nothing to help or produce any single sheet of paper. I spent the money on the day pass as I am a student, and have a scholarship through a government program that requires I print and sign their forms in pen before returning them, and will not accept a digital signature. This was a complete waste of my time, and now have to go else where to still get all of this done that I should have been able to complete with ease for the price of $60

CoworkHERS is an amazing co-working space located in a perfect location in downtown Portland, ME. The space is bright, comfortable, and inviting. The members are warm and welcoming. The owner, Heather, is wonderful, responsive, and truly values maintaining a space where all are welcome. There are fun and inspiring events each month. If you're looking for not only a co-working space, but also a community, then look no further than CoworkHERS. Can't recommend it enough!!

I was visiting my daughter in Portland and needed a space where I could work and be productive. I had a fantastic experience! There were stand up desks, treadmill desks, offices, couches, phone rooms and monitors (to name a few). Heather provides many snacks, which the members who work there clearly appreciate! Easy access with a code, Heather was onsite to assist, and she has clearly put a lot of thought into making this space appeasing to ALL types of professionals and groups. I wish these were everywhere!
