I was up visiting family at camp in Washington County and was surprised to find this coworking space with a daypass in Machias. The setup was perfect for me - comfortable tables, friendly staff, phone booths for a private call, and perfect WiFi. Plus, its close enough to Helen’s for a blueberry pie at lunch. You cant beat that! The Day Pass was perfect for my coworking needs and the ability to reliably work from home allowed me to extend my vacation in Downeast. 10/10 would recommend. Ill be back.
I run my business out of my shop, and most of my accounting, scheduling, and emailing happen at my dining room table. But if I need a reliable printer, wifi, or just a quiet place to focus on "office work", I come to the MaineStreet Business Building. Not just for the peaceful work environment they provide (the topped-off coffee pot helps) but the staff are all experts in their fields; I have yet to walk out the door without some valuable business insights. I recommend that all small business owners (and especially anyone thinking about starting a small business) visit their website and schedule a meeting with the staff. They are an incredible resource for our community!
