Launch Workplaces provided an ideal setting for our team meeting. The space was well-equipped with excellent resources and amenities, and the staff—especially Nancie Tapij, Director of Member Success—was exceptionally responsive and accommodating. Catering and delivery were seamless, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone seeking meeting space in the Bethesda area.

I stayed here from July 3rd to July 6th, and overall, the experience was disappointing for the price. The rooms don’t have a microwave or any way to warm up food, which was a big issue during my stay. I called the front desk asking for a microwave, and they told me the only one they had had already been given to another guest. They said I’d have to wait 30 minutes. I ended up waiting an hour and a half before calling back, only to be told I was added to a list of other guests also waiting for the same thing. They then suggested I go to the restaurant in the lobby to heat up my food, but when I got there, the staff said they couldn’t warm it up because it came from outside their kitchen. The manager, Yasmin, was the one who told me that. For a place charging this much, not having basic amenities like a microwave and making guests jump through hoops just to eat is ridiculous. I won’t be staying here again.

Launch Workplaces is a terrific solution for solopreneurs, small businesses, or individuals just seeking a "third place" to work. I used a private office there and had just the right amount of space, privacy, and excellent wifi. The other members were all friendly. The team offered special events, like breakfasts and happy hours, and would also highlight member businesses on their blog. Nancie, who leads the space, is super friendly and helpful. The monthly fees are also reasonable, particularly compared to some of the other coworking options in Bethesda, which are mind-bogglingly expensive. Members who have private offices also get access to the Bethesda Crossing gym which was recently renovated and is very nice - large, new and nice equipment, etc. I highly recommend this coworking space.

I had an incredible experience at Launch Workplaces in Bethesda! The service I received from Nancie was exceptional—she went above and beyond to accommodate all of my requests, making my time here seamless and enjoyable. The office itself is fantastic, with cozy and comfortable areas to take breaks during the workday, helping me stay productive. The location is perfect, being so close to everything made it super convenient for my day-to-day needs. And as an added bonus, the kombucha on tap was a great touch as well the member appreciation breakfasts! Highly recommend this space for anyone looking for a professional yet welcoming workspace

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Launch Workplaces - Bethesda has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Launch Workplaces.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.

On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.

Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Launch Workplaces, who is more than happy to help out.
