Workhub's doors are open to guests, day pass holders, and visitors from 9am - 5pm. Our direct members have access to the space 24/7 with their assigned keycards.

The Substation is one of the highlights of Roslindale. They have a variety of events, concerts, performances - the bar staff are all fantastic and their drink rotation is a lot of fun. I am also a full time member of the coworking space which has been great, much better than solely working out of my home as had I had been doing for years prior as a remote worker. The upstairs is a beautiful room that manages to be awe inspiring and comfortable at the same time, and downstairs is quite cozy with all the amenities needed for a pleasant working environment- kitchenette, variety of seating options, offices and rooms etc. At this point the Substation has become a central part of my social and community life - I have a lot of good memories there from pleasant conversations in the coworking space to friends’ birthday parties, orchestral concerts, and karaoke.
Really fun place to hang out!! Great atmosphere! huge space! Went there for a karaoke night and Boston’s got talent!! Also has room for a giant tv to watch World Cup games!!

A truly unique space with an absolutely amazing team! We had both our union ceremony and reception at The Substation and couldn't be more happy with how the day turned out. Everything from the ambience to the service to the supplies and vibe were perfect. Thank you!
The Substation is a gem in Roslindale Center! It is one of my favorite spots to go for drinks on a Friday, and they host a range of community-focused events that are a blast to attend. I’ve always recommended it to friends as a must-visit spot if you’re in the JP / Roslindale area, and I can now confidently recommend it as the best wedding venue!! When my now husband and I got engaged, our only vision for the wedding was getting married at the Substation! We live nearby and have always loved the space—their focus on community events and supporting local vendors really resonates with us, and the venue itself felt like a perfect fit. It is a stunning, architectural space with lots natural light from 20 foot arched windows and historic character (the owners Laura and Adam put a lot of love into restoring this space, and it shows.) All said and done, we had 110 guests, which felt like the perfect size for this space. We can’t thank everyone from the Substation enough for their support throughout the wedding planning process: Vickie helping us organize ourselves and managing the entire planning process (no small feat!); Brenda for supporting us through the last few months and the day as an event coordinator, putting all the pieces into place, and being a calming and comforting presence for us; Laura for helping us with the open bar package, and Phoebe for managing the day of! We had three bartenders on site who were also lovely and did an amazing job, the drinks were delicious and got lots of compliments from friends and family. Everyone from the Substation is so kind and truly invested in their work. You all made our wedding such a special and unforgettable day, we can’t thank you enough!!! Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member.
