As a freelancer, the WorkHub has been the perfect solution for me. I was looking to rent an office to build more structure around my work life and to have a professional space for client meetings, but the overhead cost of a traditional office (with utilities + insurance) and long term leases were too risky for me at this stage in my business. The WorkHub has been an excellent alternative with its month-to-month membership, which includes access to the conference room for meetings. It's a modern space that helps me focus on my work, but I can also socialize with other people there too. I'm really grateful that the Easthampton Chamber built this new coworking space for the community, and I'm looking forward to connecting with more entrepreneurs and remote workers as they catch on to this great local resource.

As a first time business owner I had a vague idea of what the Chamber of Commerce is and how it could help me and the business. When weighing out my options, I decided to give the Chamber a visit and see if it would be a good fit. When I met Moe, I knew right away I was going to join. I was no longer even concerned with the logistics or what the Chamber could do for me. I knew Moe would be a valuable resource. She is great at connecting people and is a valuable asset to the community. I learned from Moe that the local Chamber (at least in Easthampton) is not about how I can benefit from the Chamber, but how I can help learn about other local businesses and how we can all help each other (too many how's? sorry). If you have ever considered joining the Easthampton Chamber of Commerce, stop on by their location on Union Street and give Moe (and Karen!) a visit. They are awesome humans.
