Reviews
I recently purchased a day pass to use the Chamber of Commerce coworking space. I genuinely enjoyed connecting with others, and the interior space itself was professional, welcoming, and well suited for getting work done. During my visit, I used the conference room to deliver a virtual keynote for Charles Schwab. The event included a full day of company seminars, and I was honored to be the final speaker. I had a great experience professionally and appreciated having a quiet space where I could successfully deliver my presentation. Unfortunately, I do not feel the day pass provided fair value because of the accessibility barriers I experienced. The accessible parking space near the front did not provide enough room for me to deploy the wheelchair ramp from my van. The other accessible parking option was located in the back, behind a tree, and required navigating a difficult section of sidewalk. There is a drain in the sidewalk near the rear entrance that causes the pathway to slope downward. This was extremely challenging to navigate while using my wheelchair, carrying my service animal on my lap, and transporting approximately 40 pounds of books and computer equipment on the back of my chair. A caretaker of the space explained that the sidewalk may belong to the neighboring bistro and that the drain regularly requires cleaning. Regardless of who owns that portion of the sidewalk, it still creates a significant barrier for disabled guests trying to enter the coworking space safely. Because I could not properly deploy my van ramp, I had to unload my equipment in a much more physically demanding way. This caused me to overexert myself and use additional wheelchair battery power. I also traveled approximately 40 minutes each way to use the space. I would love to see the Chamber and neighboring property owners discuss a practical accessibility solution, including safer parking access, adequate van-ramp clearance, and repairs or modifications to the rear sidewalk and drain area. Accessibility should be considered throughout the entire visitor experience, not only once someone is inside the building. I am grateful that the workspace allowed me to complete an important keynote, but I am uncertain whether I could return under the current conditions. I would appreciate a conversation regarding these accessibility concerns and whether a refund or credit may be appropriate, since the space was not fully accessible for my needs.
As a freelancer, the WorkHub has been the perfect solution for me. I was looking to rent an office to build more structure around my work life and to have a professional space for client meetings, but the overhead cost of a traditional office (with utilities + insurance) and long term leases were too risky for me at this stage in my business. The WorkHub has been an excellent alternative with its month-to-month membership, which includes access to the conference room for meetings. It's a modern space that helps me focus on my work, but I can also socialize with other people there too. I'm really grateful that the Easthampton Chamber built this new coworking space for the community, and I'm looking forward to connecting with more entrepreneurs and remote workers as they catch on to this great local resource.
This Chamber sets itself apart by offering unique classes and conferences. They are passionate about helping local business owners and you see Moe everywhere! The team at Easthampton Chamber is always innovating new events and do a stellar job.
As a first time business owner I had a vague idea of what the Chamber of Commerce is and how it could help me and the business. When weighing out my options, I decided to give the Chamber a visit and see if it would be a good fit. When I met Moe, I knew right away I was going to join. I was no longer even concerned with the logistics or what the Chamber could do for me. I knew Moe would be a valuable resource. She is great at connecting people and is a valuable asset to the community. I learned from Moe that the local Chamber (at least in Easthampton) is not about how I can benefit from the Chamber, but how I can help learn about other local businesses and how we can all help each other (too many how's? sorry). If you have ever considered joining the Easthampton Chamber of Commerce, stop on by their location on Union Street and give Moe (and Karen!) a visit. They are awesome humans.

However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with WorkHub on Union.
