I've worked out of four different co-working spaces in Back Bay and this one is a disaster - avoid at all costs. I felt unwelcome nearly the whole time I was there. The sales guy sold me a membership type and then the center staff seemed to have no idea what that membership entailed, didn't know where to put me, said that they couldn't honor commitments the sales guy gave me. I spent two days getting asked to mediate a longstanding argument between the sales team and the center team - center team wanted to take pictures of me and my stuff to send to the corporate management as proof of how unorganized the whole thing was. I could barely get any work done. Also there is soooo much friction on a daily basis - you have to register your use on the app, but that doesn't give you building access, so you need to separately notify the center just to get access to the building, and if you want to leave to get lunch you're given a guest key card and told to hurry back and not take too long because someone else might need the card. I'm now in a payment dispute with them b/c the sales guy told me all I had to do was email him to cancel, but they never actually canceled my membership. Check out WorkBar or WeWork or Industrious, it's basically the same product at same or better price and they all have their act together.

I have now called over 10 times in 2 days attempting to book a conference room. Nobody will answer the phone and I just continue to get transferred to voicemails. Extremely frustrating. I have booked here in the past several times with another company with no issues. Apparently they don't want my money.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Regus, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Regus - Boston - Symphony operates during regular business hours, as indicated above. For access outside of these hours, please contact the operator directly to inquire about any available options.

  • Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Meeting rooms require prior reservation, and private offices are exclusively available to those with subscription packages. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to everyone. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with Regus.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • At Regus - Boston - Symphony, Private Offices and Dedicated Desks can be booked on a monthly basis.
