Unfortunately this location is the closest USPS to my home and I have had to go here on many occasions. Unless you know these workers personally they are overall just very miserable. Every time I go I try to brush the rudeness and overall disgruntled behavior off my shoulders because I know what it is like to have a job where you are dealing with people all day or you’re in a role that you really don’t like. However it’s just reached a point where I very much dread coming to this location anytime I need to and honestly the level of which they speak to someone just looking to drop something off is extremely unnecessary. I had a prepaid label to send out a package, all the workers have to do is scan a QR code and slap the label that pops out of the printer onto my package, that’s it. Every time I have this scenario they look at me with attitude and tell me I should just print the label myself and that they don’t have the time to do this for me. If I receive a QR code that allows me have it printed at USPS is that not a part the job that they’re telling me they don’t have time for? Also this building is only open during working hours of 7:30-5:30, I always have to take my lunch or get out early for the 30 minutes they are open before my work day starts to run here. Going to the library to print out the label and then go to USPS is not something I always have the time to do. Whenever I need to return Amazon packages to UPS with a QR code I always apologize for having too many packages through my constant encounters with USPS and they always tell me not to worry and its their job. Even with the USPS in seaport I never have the constant issues and attitude I experience here. Of course since this a government agency nothing will likely come of this, but if you have the option to go to a different USPS location I would save yourself the annoyance and choose the latter.
