Der 200 Clarendon, den die meisten Besucher noch immer als John Hancock Tower kennen, hat mich bei meinem Boston-Besuch sofort beeindruckt. Zwischen den historischen Gebäuden von Back Bay wirkt der moderne Glasturm fast schon futuristisch. Besonders spannend fand ich, wie sich die spiegelnde Fassade je nach Wetter und Tageszeit verändert und den Himmel oder die umliegenden Gebäude reflektiert. Direkt daneben steht die berühmte Trinity Church, wodurch ein faszinierender Kontrast zwischen historischer und moderner Architektur entsteht. Gerade dieses Zusammenspiel macht den Ort zu einem der interessantesten Fotomotive der Stadt. Auch wenn das Gebäude von außen eher schlicht wirkt, entfaltet es durch seine klaren Linien und die enorme Höhe eine besondere Eleganz. Es ist kein Wolkenkratzer, der mit auffälligen Verzierungen beeindrucken möchte, sondern mit zeitlosem Design und Präsenz. Man merkt schnell, warum es seit Jahrzehnten als Wahrzeichen Bostons gilt. Für mich gehört der Turm bei einem Spaziergang durch Back Bay unbedingt dazu. Selbst ohne Aussichtsplattform oder Besichtigung im Inneren ist der Anblick beeindruckend. Wer sich für Architektur interessiert oder einfach die moderne Seite Bostons erleben möchte, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Office is in a great location and local to Newbury. They recently renovated the gym , bar and library area that is open to anyone who lives / works in the building.
