I don’t recommend working with Beacon Hill based on my experience. I’ve had consistently frustrating interactions with staffing agencies in general, and this one has been especially disappointing. In my experience, recruiters come across as focused on quick placements and commissions rather than building relationships or maintaining consistent communication, and this situation reflected that. My recruiter, Katie Bruno, did place me in two roles starting around 2021. However, after being in my current role for over three years, I made it clear I wanted to start actively looking for something new because it’s not the right long-term fit. Since then, the experience has been extremely inconsistent. Katie will occasionally send roles only when I've reached out numerous times. I’ll respond right away saying I’m interested and want to move forward, and then… nothing. No follow-up, no update, no submission confirmation, just complete silence for months. If a role is successfully applied there is always some story about how they've filled the position or how they haven't heard back. I end up having to reach back out 3–6 months later to follow up and once again start the searching process over, only for the same cycle to repeat. This has been going on for over two years. I’m also repeatedly told that “the market is slow” and there aren’t many opportunities, but then I’m directed to check their website for jobs. When I do and send roles that clearly match my background and experience, I’m told I’m not a fit, without much explanation, and then communication drops off again. I’ve called multiple times asking to be reassigned to another recruiter who is responsive and actively places candidates, and nothing has come from those requests. Most recently, I reached out to management last week to raise concerns about being consistently ghosted and to ask for a new point of contact—and naturally no one returned my call. The lack of communication and follow-through is unprofessional and dismissive. Having been successfully placed through Beacon Hill before, I expected a much higher level of support and transparency.

I had an outstanding experience working with Beacon Hill Staffing Group (BHSG) in Boston. Their team played a pivotal role in helping me land a position with Raytheon Technologies, and I truly couldn't be more grateful for their support throughout the process. A special shoutout to Brandon Woodward and Will Boyk - they were exceptional from start to finish. From the moment they connected with me, they were proactive, professional, and incredibly supportive. They guided me through every step, from identifying the right opportunity and preparing for interviews to consistent follow-ups during the hiring process and even through onboarding. What stood out most was their responsiveness and dedication. Their turnaround time was remarkable, and they took the time to throughly answer every question I had along the way. It's clear they genuinely are about their candidates and go above and beyond to ensure success. If you're looking for a recruiting team that is attentive, knowledge, and truly invested in your career, I highly recommend Beacon Hill Staffing Group - and especially Brandon and Will. I was contacted by one of their recruiters. I replied right away, sent my resume, and was ghosted by the recruiter. I tried reaching out, saw that he was reading my messages...no reply. Waste of time.

Working with Ava, a Staffing Consultant at BHSG, was a fantastic experience. She was incredibly proactive, responsive, and supportive. If you are on the market looking for a job, I highly recommend reaching out to this agency.
