We had a wonderful experience at Serendipity Labs over the past year as the Kansas City home base for our Spring11 team. From day one, the space was thoughtfully designed, professional, and energizing. Exactly what our team needed to do their best work. The Serendipity Labs team was consistently warm, responsive, and a pleasure to work alongside. The amenities, atmosphere, and overall environment made coming into the office something our team genuinely looked forward to. We're only moving on because our Kansas City team has grown and we've outgrown the space, which is truly a testament to the kind of productive, positive environment Serendipity Labs helped foster. Thank you to the entire Serendipity Labs KC team for a fantastic year!

The staff and location are great. However, I’ve been waiting for over 60 days for my refund check and have had zero response from the corporate office after multiple emails asking for updates. State law requires refund be submitted to tenant within 30 days or provide documentation of why it hasn’t. I’ve been provided neither. OP office manager stated, in writing, that I would get a full refund as no damage was found that required outside repairs too. No clue what’s going on as nobody can provide an answer. I would have recommended this place, but given this issue, I will not. SL corporate, you need to get your act together and respond to my requests!

So I’ve noticed that if you do a Google search for reviews their reviews are abysmal. And I know exactly why. Their customer service sucks and they could care less about their customers. But I’ve noticed that apparently people leave their reviews on different forums when you do a Google search rather than at a specific location on Google maps. It’s a stupid place with stupid rules. The only reason you would ever be here is if you were working for a big corporation or a business that had an office here and you were forced to work here. You would never work here as an independent business owner because there is no flexibility to be able to run your business how you need to run your business. They don’t allow guest past 5:00pm. Only 8-5, can you believe that. They have a cheap crap wired Internet that comes through the wall for about $30/mo and that’s the only one you can ever get. I’ve stayed at millions of office rental places and you can always put in cable Internet such as spectrum. The idea you can’t run a reliable Internet service because they wanna make money by charging you 30 bucks extra for their brand cable Internet service is crap. And crap if you need to speak to a customer service representative because the Internet is down (which it goes down pretty much every single day and with my business it’s highly critical that I have an Internet that works on a daily basis, it finally drove me crazy, coupled with the fact that my mother recently had a stroke and I just wasn’t thinking straight), you have to go through an act of Congress to set up an appointment with tech support for agents who are in India and barely speak English and they have to be on a three-way call with you because heaven forbid you should take up someone’s time. Can you believe that? They’re afraid you don’t understand time management to the point that they have to babysit you on the phone with Tech Support to ensure that you don’t stay on the phone with them for too long because that’s how they keep their cost down somehow. As I’ve said the only reason you would ever stay here is if you’re an employee working for some business that’s decided to be here. And some of these stupid businesses like these prickly rules. The vast majority of people that work here work 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. I work 70 to 80 hours a week and people come to visit me from time to time, it’s just the nature of my business. I could go on and on and on about their stupid rules, just read the contract that goes along with this. If you’re your own business owner you’re going to laugh out loud. Technically I’m going to do some YouTube videos and make a comedy of this place. There’s no way if you run your own business that you could ever allow someone to run your business into the ground by staying here with lousy Internet, stupid guest rules, insane rules and employees that care nothing about their customers because they’re so used to their employees telling them they better bark and sit when these receptionist tell them what to do or not to do. You would have to be an idiot to bring your own office here. I saw some people bring their office here and within 30 days they were gone because they couldn’t stand it. I had several people tell me which is the sentiment I had that they like the idea of the place, it looks clean, the atmosphere looks really nice and it is a good idea especially for someone who loves to work such as myself and am a workaholic. They’ve gotta half crap kitchen area in there. They don’t even have a toaster oven which is what I use to heat my food which is dumb, oh and by the way, I can’t bring my own toaster oven in the kitchen area. Why??? They have a microwave. I couldn’t believe the turnover that I saw when I would see someone working in an office and next week they’re not there anymore and it’s just an empty office… I had a couple of people tell me they just couldn’t believe this was the experience they had. I could go on but I’m limited in space here, I liked Cheyenne & Becky they are just followig rules/company policy, you know how that goes.
