Cider Gallery ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a wedding DJ and event professional with Wichita DJ Professionals, I’ve had the opportunity to work at Cider Gallery in Lawrence, Kansas, and it’s one of the most visually striking and well-run venues in the area. The space blends an industrial-art gallery aesthetic with warm, modern design—exposed textures, rotating artwork, and soft lighting that instantly elevate any ceremony or reception. From a vendor standpoint, Cider Gallery is extremely well organized. The staff is professional, responsive, and experienced with weddings and private events, which makes setup and coordination smooth from start to finish. Having a team that understands event flow really helps everything run on time and reduces stress for everyone involved. The layout is versatile, with a beautiful indoor gallery space and a great connection to outdoor areas for cocktail hour or photos. It works especially well for medium-sized weddings where you want guests to feel close to the action without the space ever feeling cramped. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! From day one, Coco was the absolute best to work with. She is incredibly sweet, completely accommodating, and took care of so many behind-the-scenes details we hadn’t even thought of. Her entire staff is truly top-tier. Throughout the day- they checked in with my wife and me to ensure everything was running smoothly and that we had a drink or anything else we needed. They even saved the day without a moment's hesitation when our caterer forgot the plates and utensils—Coco and her team just jumped right in and handled it! The venue itself is stunning. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are phenomenal, and the location is superb. The entire property is kept in pristine condition and is incredibly clean. Honestly, the space is so gorgeous on its own that we actually scaled back on our decorations because we just wanted the natural beauty of the venue to speak for itself.
