The Root is a great place to work, connect, and be productive. As a member, you get 24/7 access, reliable Wi-Fi, and access to well-equipped conference rooms, which makes it perfect for both focused work and client meetings. What really sets The Root apart, though, is the atmosphere. The co-owners, Mark and Brigid, are truly salt of the earth people who go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. They’ve created a space that’s not just functional, but genuinely inviting and community-driven. It’s a great environment for networking, collaboration, or just getting out of the house and into a professional setting. I would highly recommend The Root to anyone in the New Albany area looking for a flexible and supportive workspace!

I recently spent time working at The Root and had a great experience. The space is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and has plenty of easy parking which makes a big difference. The kitchenette is also a really nice added touch. Beyond the space itself, it created a great environment to be productive and connect — I had several meaningful conversations and it was refreshing to work somewhere outside of my home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming and functional coworking space.

Worked here with Woman Owned Wallet and it was perfect! WiFi worked well, bathrooms were clean, and the whole place is welcoming.

Great place to utilize a space for work. Who really needs a large office and upkeep when you meet a few clients a month?
