This is an amazing place. We rent 2 spaces here and love it. Everything is up to date and the owners and staff are really nice. The cost is really affordable especially for what you get in each unit. The co-working office is really cool. Lots of workspace, conference rooms, a shower, printer, coffee, beer and wine. If you have a small business or work from home, but need an actual office this is a great location.

I've been a member since November 2020 and love it. Workspaces are clean, well lit, and accommodate a variety of preferences for space and groups. Internet, printing, shredding, and meeting spaces are all quality and the staff will quickly help when there are issues. Included coffee and tea are wonderful, and while I rarely sample the beer and wine, those are available as well - usually from a local maker! The kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed and clean. I also really appreciate the focus on more sustainable and environmentally friendly products and an overall effort towards being green - from the cleaners provided for sanitizing your work-space when done to the soaps to the high efficiency light/windows and landscaping.

Love having the Workshop as a local destination where I can slip out of my house to do work, take meetings and simply enjoy the company of other creatives, the gorgeous artwork, professionals and all around awesome peeps. And let's not forget the coffee is always outrageously good. After the pandemic began and work from home became the new normal, it also got too normal to allow distractions/noise to slink in whether it be animals doing animal things, kiddos or loud outside noises, etc. etc. Finally grabbing a membership was really huge in finding balance of work from home life, having a 'not at home' work place, and simply staying productive. It was really perfect for my summer spent doing freelance and it's also continues to be great for taking on remote work positions and needing a solid atmosphere to get things done in. Don't sleep on these memberships if you're struggling with working from home!

I love it here! It’s a perfect mix of modern and institutional, so I want to hang out here BUT I also get a lot of work done. There are even rotating art shows that come through the space. I’m a huge proponent of changing scenery when I’ve hit a wall, so the versatility of the building works for me really well. The coffee is ground fresh and the beer is cold!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • At 4389 North Long Road, those looking for a workspace for an entire day, Day Passs are available. In addition, Coworking Memberships and Dedicated Desks can also be booked on a monthly basis.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with The Workshop.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with The Workshop, who is more than happy to help out.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
