Reviews
Very disappointed in the Cyprus family Aquatics park and management team. I have signed up for the water park for my family on 4 occasions as a season pass holders I was unable to enter the park due to school busses overcrowded park and summer camps (see atached photo for the wait line) We have purchased these passes to enjoy our summer time unfortunately we were not given this opportunity. On one occasion that we were able to visit the park I was waiting for my daughter to go down the red slide by the splash pad but had to wait because a disable women was going down the slide I did not mind because we all want to experiance fun but unfortunately the life guard on duty was not doing his job when the women went down the slide she was unable to stand up water rushing into her face the life guard was paying no attention to her and would have let her drown I could not stand to watch this person struggling so I hoped in and helped her asked if she was alright while her caretaker came to lift her out. Mind you I am a small build women and that was the life guards job to help her and not ignore the situation. The women next to me who was waiting for her child to go down the slide also said "isn't that why the life guard is there for" we were all shocked at the level of safety these teenage lifeguards have for the safety for the park. I have sustained an injury while living this women out of the water. After all these unfortunate insidents at cypresI have requested a refound for the park but the park managment Amanda did not think I was deserving for a full refund of the park. So since I did have an injury at this park doing what I thought was the right thing unfortunately in the lifeguears eyes and management their "satisfactory policy" was not to be refunded to me so I will be taking legal action for the safety concerns at Cypres water park
Donna who works at the front desk has an extremely poor attitude and is quite unfriendly to be in a front facing and front line position. My interaction with her was unfortunate. I walked up and she barely wanted to greet me and proceeded to act bothered for a simple question. It was unprofessional and unbecoming especially at a Center that is designed to be welcoming to the community.
When our park district 100% stops using RoundUp and other harmful chemicals in our beautiful village, I will change this to a 5-star rating. Join us on Facebook at "Non Toxic Woodridge" UPDATE 4/7/2025 Over the years, the park district has been listening to our concerns about using RoundUp and other toxic chemicals around playgrounds and walking paths and anywhere else where us residents enjoy going to. Since this initial one star review- the park district has reached out to me a number of times, and each time they genuinely cared about what I had concerns with. They DID stop using RoundUp! That's a huge step forward. And they made that decision in a scientifically logical manner; they heard our concerns and immediately stopped using RoundUp while they looked into healthier alternatives and reached out to others in order to learn about which options are out there. They didn't need to spray more RoundUp and wait to see how it messes up the community. I love our park district. And it's incredible to see some of the cool things we're going to have soon in the Janes Ave area from the southern edge of the woods all the way up to the lakes. Our beloved free mulch area will soon be a community garden- and there are dozens of benefits to that for all residents! If at the end of the day your main concern is the health of your new baby or your pets or your grandma talking a walk and stopping to smell a flower or your kids playing in the grass or you just relaxing and taking in the beauty of Woodridge in the Spring and Summer- you are in good hands and you do NOT have to worry about RoundUp and toxic chemicals in the grass and the bushes and trees. Woodridge is taking care of all of us. Always speak out if there's an issue that you're concerned with. Start politely and learn what they're doing- and if you take issue with something- just say so! This isn't national politics- it's local. So you can actually get responses directly from elected officials and other park district employees. Thank you everyone who works hard at the Woodridge park district to make this town beautiful for everyone!
We went there for a soccer game great facility.
Very Nice 👍
