For me, my Kilns membership has created space for exceptional professional innovation. Being a member has nourished relationships in ways I can’t count; and I now I can’t even remember what my work life was like pre-kilns. It’s the perfect event space to do work, host an awesome event, or network socially/professionally —all while fulfilling good purposes for lives that need it. The owners are generous and life-giving and Wheaton is lucky to have such a charming and nourishing space.

Bought a day pass two days in a row and it’s a nice space. Staff could have been more professional and respectful. I was interrupted while I was on calls multiple times as well as pressured to leave at 3pm. It was not clear anywhere on the website and there wasn’t any communication up front from the staff that a day pass purchase ended at 3 pm. Would prefer more transparency of policies for those of us looking for temporary space when in town. Enjoyed the space otherwise but will likely find a quiet coffee shop or library space next time. EDIT (to address owner response): regardless of being in the email (there’s wrong info in that confirmation about the hours as well), it wasn’t information provided up front before purchasing and you call it a day pass which implies a full day.

Great work space and excellent hospitality. My first time here, Jonny went out of his way to show me around and make sure I had everything I needed. They’re very friendly and accommodating. Not to mention everything is brand new and well designed - plus great coffee. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend!

I purchased a day pass after thoroughly researching their website. I chose The Kilns because they had multiple phone booths available and I needed a place for the two confidential Zoom calls I had with clients. I don’t live near Wheaton - I live 90 minutes away, but a couple of times a month I have in person meetings in Wheaton so finding a coworking space seemed like a good use of time. The Kilns is a beautiful space and during the tour I was told that the phone booths were for members only, not day pass holders. This information was not on the website. I asked if there would be a possibility for me to rent the space for 2 hours or some exception so I could conduct the business I needed. After consulting with the owner, I was told no. There was no attempt to find an alternative or offer a different option other than becoming a monthly member, so I had to travel back home, reschedule client appointments and waste 3 hours of my day. I would not recommend The Kilns for anyone looking for a day pass to a coworking space.
