As a small business owner, I never write negative reviews for other businesses, but my experience with HQ/Regus in Olympia Fields has been a pure nightmare. While the kitchen area was bright and clean and the corner office had nice windows, the bad far outweighed the good. During my time there, I had staff members come in for training. We were shocked to find a severe bug problem. Bugs were literally crawling on us, the desks, and the furniture provided with the office. It was so bad that the ladies started keeping their purses in their cars so they wouldn't take bugs home. While the office was eventually sprayed, it didn't completely solve the problem. As an attorney, I expect a co-working space to offer ease of printing, faxing, and mailing. This was non-existent or overpriced here. Usually, I use the local Chicago Heights FedEx for scanning and printing, but once we decided to try the mailer outside the office for convenience. My paralegal brought back a receipt for $45 for a single next-day envelope. I never pay more than $25 for that service at FedEx and told her never to use the HQ machine again. When I tried to set up printing as instructed, the job wouldn't go through. I was told printing is difficult and offered a one time courtesy to email my documents to her (HQ staffer). Because of client confidentiality, I cannot email sensitive legal files to a third party. I ended up defaulting back to FedEx just to conduct basic business. I ended my private office lease because the rent increased by $500. This wasn't worth it for me considering its only private office space with no other amenities. During the cancellation in the app, I was prompted to sign up for a month-to-month Virtual Office with "MailBox Plus" for $89 specifically to handle my mail during the transition. As a lawyer, I constantly receive important mail for court cases, so I signed up to ensure address continuity. Despite my agreement explicitly saying MailBox Plus, the Olympia Fields office keeps emailing me saying the virtual office does not include mail. They never provide a direct response to my inquiries—only a reiteration of their initial stance. Now, I am being forced to figure out how to get my mail at an additional fee for a service that was already included in the agreement I signed up for. To make matters worse, when I followed instructions to cancel the month-to-month agreement in the app, the system generated a move-out date of March 31, 2031. This has created an immense amount of unnecessary stress, as I now have to spend my time fighting a clearly erroneous five-year commitment on a month-to-month plan. Coworking companies should make things transparent and easy for small business owners. HQ/Regus has been difficult in every sense of the word. Between the bug issues, the lack of basic functional utilities, and the ongoing billing disputes, this has been an incredibly draining experience. I do not recommend this location to any professional who requires reliability or honest business practices.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with HQ, who is more than happy to help out.

  • HQ - Olympia Fields - Governors Hwy operates during regular business hours, as indicated above. For access outside of these hours, please contact the operator directly to inquire about any available options.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.
