Pronounced E-T-C, we are a Coworking Space for Elgin and the Suburban Tech Community. We are a shared workspace for professionals, freelancers, remote workers, small business owners, solo entrepreneurs, start-ups, and side-hustlers. We provide workspace, meeting rooms, dedicated desks, private offices, mail services, a podcast room and related amenities in a comfortable, convenient, and professional setting. We promote a community to work -- CONNECT | CREATE | COLLABORATE.

We offer multiple membership levels -- open coworking, dedicated desks, private offices, meeting room space, and mail services. Our features and amenities include: Flexible month-to-month plans * Longer-term commitments include a monthly discount * Dhort term day and week passes are available * 1.25GB High-Speed Internet * WiFi & wired connection * Surge protectors & desk clamp power strips * Lockable storage * 24/7 building and coworking access * Keyless office entry * 24/7 Kitchen access with free coffee, water, tea * Offices include desk(s) and chair(s), lockable storage, and keyless entry * All utilities included * Mail services available and included in some membership packages * Conference room usage is available and included in some membership packages * Podcast room usage is available to members * Access to professional network Entry is at 11 Douglas Ave (between Chicago Street and Highland Ave.) Take the elevator to the second floor. There is also a staircase entrance located near 17 Douglas (two doors north). Shawarma Stop is on the 1st floor. WRMN radio is across the street. Most days our bistro table is out front on the sidewalk. Community managers are typically available from 9a-4p M-F.

Street parking is limited to 2 hours during business hours. Please use the surface lot on the corner of Douglas and Highland, or the parking garage at Chicago Street and Spring Street, or the surface lot at the corner of Chicago and Riverside. All public parking is free and within one block of our facility.

ETC Co-Working is a hidden gem in central Elgin. The location is incredibly convenient—close to everything downtown, making it easy to step out for coffee, lunch, or meetings without losing momentum. The space itself is clean, quiet, and very well set up for productivity. Fast internet, comfortable work areas, and a professional but relaxed atmosphere make it easy to get real work done. Tom does an outstanding job—responsive, welcoming, and clearly invested in making the space work for everyone there. That personal touch really sets ETC apart from more generic co-working options.

Phenomenal place, what a gem. The layout is fantastic, and I'm super productive here. The manager, Tom, does an incredible job. Coffee and snacks are included plus they regular networking events, and you make all kinds of great connections here. If you're looking to get out of your house or find an alternative to cafes - give ETC a try!

I had the opportunity to meet Tom and tour the space and it far exceeded my expectations. From the start, Tom immediately returned my voice mail and was very accommodating at scheduling a time for me to view the space just a few hours after we connected over the phone. This company and space is perfect entrepreneurs who are just getting started, as well as small business that are looking to have a place to grow into. The location is in the heart of downtown Elgin and is easy to find and has ample street parking. The space was very organized, clean and very spacious. There are several work spaces available on the first and second floor that have different room sizes to fit your needs. It offers great amenities such a shared kitchen, bathrooms, and separate spaces to take private phone calls, zoom meetings, and video recording. This place is a hidden gem. Give Tom a call today so you are able experience all the perks this place has to offer.
