Working From is one of my favorite co-working spaces in Chicago. There is a range of space types for your coworking needs: from quit desks to cafe-style area to an outside patio. They have plenty of phone booths and rooms to rent, which have been great for team meetings. I've also enjoyed the number of food options nearby. Finally, the team is incredible! Would highly recommend this space.

The team at Working From_ is absolutely lovely and they truly care about delivering a good experience. I co-hosted an event in the community space, and the Working From_ team was thoughtful, creative, and really went above and beyond to ensure the partnership was a success. They're responsive, communicative, and are excited to bring ideas to life.

TLDR: start with a daypass and experience what co-working what supposed to be like! I started going to Working From because it was an option from my company but now I regularly pay for my own day pass because it is SUCH a beautiful, welcome break in my work week. The team is exceptional and knows everyone by name whether they are full office holders or day passers like me. Everything is impeccably clean and I've actually built a few real friendships there which is the promise so many co-working spaces claim but don't actually deliver. Marisa M is a one-of-a-kind leader who really shapes the energy of the space and makes everything truly feel like home (but one that is always orderly) I recommend Working_from to all my friends because it ACTUALLY delivers what many coworking spaces wish they could: a place where people actually learn your name and what matters to you. And if you don't want to talk to anyone, they respect that too. They really read people in that way, not forcing anything on anyone but keeping the space warm and welcoming. Though I would say if you are the kind of person who WANTS to meet people and chat them up, it's good for that kind of interaction. Working _from is the rare gem in that crowded co-working space. Definitely try it out and see if it's your vibe!

This place used to be nice but it’s just not luxury anymore , when I would come the tables would be greasy and dirty , never any snacks left , dirty toilets when I would visit in the morning , the daybeds have fluid stains on them , it’s a very weird experience because it seems nice at first , but once you start to really settle in it’s not maintained well. I ended up cancelling my membership and they keep your deposit without one month notice but it’s not like the deposits are being used to make repairs or improvements . Not to mention the same space that we pay a membership for they rent out for private events multiple times a week and let us know the main canteen area will be off limits to members.

I had a productive workday here as a guest. I appreciated the bag storage, outdoor space, and lunch delivery. I would totally work from here again when I’m in Chicago.

Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Working From_, who is more than happy to help out.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Working From_.

Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.

The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
