I can’t recommend The Yard enough!! It’s consistently clean & maintained. As a designer, I especially appreciate how inspiring yet functional the environment feels. What really sets it apart, though, is the management; Jessica and Nikki go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly and that everyone feels welcome and taken care of. 🩷

I’ve been a member at The Yard Fulton Market for a year now. The space itself is top tier. Jessica and Nikki are both amazing. They make sure members feel supported, welcomed, and taken care of. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great workspace in Fulton Market.

Incredible space and community. Bright, spacious, amazing people. I hosted a workshop at The Yard and it was such a success. They have an amazing atmosphere and Nikki and Jessica are fantastic to work with. Highly recommend for events, coworking, and being in community.

Every time I’ve used the Yard they’ve met my expectations and more! The space is clean, the workers are helpful, and they have everything needed for co-working in downtown Chicago.

I’ve been to The Yard Fulton Market a bunch of times and it’s honestly one of the best coworking spaces in Chicago. The space is beautiful, super well kept and just has a great vibe to work in. Jessica and Nikki go above and beyond with customer service and really make you feel welcome every time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great place to work!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with The Yard, who is more than happy to help out.

  • At The Yard - The Yard Fulton Market, you can book a Galena, Haymarket or a Sangamon for a flexible hourly rate. For those who require a workspace for an entire day, Day Passs, Galenas and Haymarkets are also available.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.
