Was able to book a private office space one day in advance for ~$25. The space was exactly what I was looking for - quiet, private, and included all needed amenities for a quick solo meeting. I was able to get in about an hour early and the room I was assigned to could have accommodated ~4-6 people. Great location and seems like a great coworking space. Would recommend!

Deceptive work practices. The staff and service is terrible. My company will be severing their services once the contract is up later this year.

We have been super disappointed with the Spaces in Fulton Market. We are primarily using them for their mail forwarding service. Over the last year, I have repeatedly raised concerns about the mail not being forwarded, I've had to check in and ask if we have mail and most recently received mail in February that was postmarked from November. Three months into signing up, we were informed that they were only forwarding mail for our dba name, not our corporate inc name and forced us to sign up for a second account to get that mail forwarded as well. I also recently discovered duplicate charges for the non-existent mail service on our account. So now we are paying double for an extremely unreliable service. Finally, like expressed by others, the billing systems are highly problematic. Despite paying our bill each month, we seemingly have had multiple instances of odd overdue charges that show up and need to be paid via some special link vs the normal account management system. I've kindly requested an early termination of only one of our accounts (the other ends in April) instead of continuing to pay for services that aren't being fulfilled through July and that has been denied with not even a compromise offered. Clearly they do not value customer service or have some sense of accountability for the mail service that has been unreliable. I definitely do not recommend them given all the other options in the neighborhood. >

Stay away from Regus/Spaces and their unfair and deceptive business practices. They force customers into paying additional months for services they no longer wish to receive. The customer service is just non existent. Erica the community manager at Fulton Market is just rude, irritated, and unwilling to help! We have been loyal customers of Spaces since 2018, and until recently, our experience has been positive. However, we have encountered persistent issues with making payments through the app, consistently receiving an error message that instructs us to try again in 48 hours. This has forced us to make payments over the phone, but unfortunately, customer service was unable to assist us in setting up autopay, citing the need to use the app, which continues to present problems. This situation has become increasingly frustrating and has resulted in a $500 late fee that we believe is unjust, as we have made every effort to fulfill our payment obligations. I have also attempted to report this issue to the help desk but have encountered error messages there as well (please see the attached screenshot). I also asked the front desk at Fulton market to send a ticket request, they did! But it’s been WEEKS now and no one from Spaces has reached out to us to resolve this issue. We requested to resolve this issue and terminate our agreement instead all we get is the run around for weeks now! More over they “auto renewed our lease agreement!” Meanwhile I can’t even access my application to terminate this non sense and their help desk work get back to me - how convenient!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.

While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, Spaces may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • At Spaces - Chicago - Fulton Market, Dedicated Desks can be booked on a monthly basis.

  • Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Meeting rooms require prior reservation, and private offices are exclusively available to those with subscription packages. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to everyone. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with Spaces.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
