Booking process was super easy. Office was clean and furnished appropriately. What keeps this from getting five stars:
When I came in I told the staff member I had booked a day office. Never asked to provide anything. Name, confirmation, nothing. I could have been anybody.
Vending machine was either completely empty or non-functional. Not sure which.
This is the big one for me. The main expansive site really mixes up what you are paying for. They give you all the best perks up front which is a little misleading because those perks all refer to a dedicated private office. Like 24/7 access. Which one could understandably presume that if I have an all day meeting on eastern time hours that one could show up at say, 7:30 AM, and be able to gain entry. Nope. Not if you’ve booked a day office. You can’t get access until 9AM. Which I might point out is kind of late in the morning in this day and age especially if you need to be on a call because your workday STARTS at 9. I showed up at 7 for a 7:30 meeting to discover that I couldn’t get in. When I finally had a break to call and ask about being refunded due to the misunderstanding they were not going to be willing to make it right (I should point out that I’m certain that I saw this location opened at 6:30 AM which was the reason I booked at expansive to begin with even though there are other similar places much closer). I hope the $200 they got out of me goes a long way because they won’t be getting more. I’ll be going to Regus instead (who, by the way, make their hours and amenities much clearer.)
