Excellent. Excellent co-work space and well-spring of innovative GOOD work. The “David” to the Trailhead’s “Goliath”, Inspo Alley has key competitive advantages. To name a few: ample space, dedicated phone booths and conference rooms, and a fair multi-tiers of membership. Join as a hot desk, dedicated desk or more, and you’ll have limitless entry and use of the space, which includes hyper-speed WiFi, printing, and all the coffee and fresh pure water you care for. Bonus: fridge and microwave, for us brown-baggers. I’ve found IA to be welcoming and accommodating to newcomers, and passers-through. Oh, extra bonus: a ping pong table, on which, through certain spans of time, members do fierce and fun battle, furthering the community spirit. A typical IA member is N, who has the whole “right-side of brain / left-side of brain” going on. By day she diligently researches and prepares UX plans for leading higher-ed and other esteemed orgs. By night she has a popular line of cartoonish characters drawing from her animation and artistic skills. Knowing N has given me ideas about what is possible, and she has generously given me advice on both the usability and design fronts. I have yet to meet a bad egg at Inspo Alley. It's under-stated how much of a marvel the physical space really is. Wander around, and find and see (and sit!) on stylish, well-apportioned furnishings very thoughtfully selected by WOM (wife of manager). And the building itself is the beacon that is the Oliver Russell home, with its storied history (a former auto service center--love that) and truly inspiring murals (hello, Dolly!). A bit more words about the comforts.. any office could stock coffee beans, but what about locally roasted beans, of several origins, from an affiliated company called Happy Brands? Happy Brands, my god, yes, such a thing exists, there is hope for the world after all, and only would IA be a trusted ally of it. A co-working location must be judged not only by its offerings but by its mgmt, so allow me to conclude with these words about the owner: My enthusiasm for Russ as a person and businessperson is UNQUALIFIED; an endorsement I can rarely give.
217 South 11th Street has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Inspiration Alley.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Inspiration Alley, who is more than happy to help out.
At 217 South 11th Street, those looking for a workspace for an entire day, Day Passs are available. In addition, Coworking Memberships and Dedicated Desks can also be booked on a monthly basis.
