I couldn’t be happier with my office at the Work Places on Glenridge! The facilities are top-notch, providing everything I need for a productive work environment. Stephanie, in particular, goes above and beyond to ensure all my needs are met. Her attention to detail and dedication to making sure everything runs smoothly make my experience exceptional. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a great workspace!

I recently broke my lease at this location. I was given misinformation prior to signing my lease about decorating and privacy. Nothing against any of the staff personally but I was told that it would be okay to put up a curtain in my unit because my job requires that we be in enclosed room where no one can see the information we deal with as well as my personal preference I just prefer privacy. I had an office space at Saltbox earlier this year and loved it but I wanted a bigger space than I had at Saltbox and they didn’t have wired internet connection which was a requirement for my job yet this place did. They tried to get me to pay for a privacy film that cost over $1,000 for installation and I wasn’t trying to pay that when I was under the assumption that I would be able to install a curtain to block people from being able to view my unit when passing by. I tried to let it be for a few weeks but I couldn’t stand it any further and decided abruptly leave because I hated not having the privacy like I had at Saltbox, there was so much noise during work hours sometimes (I am aware people will speak and things like that but there were many times where it would just be very loud near my unit, I didn’t like the fact that they would just enter my unit whenever even cleaning staff like I am big on privacy I hated that staff would enter my unit when I wasn’t around. At Saltbox, as far as I know of no staff has ever entered my unit without emailing me first. I won’t act like this place is terrible it just wasn’t for me. The building itself was very nice but I hated the fact that the doors didn’t have the ability to be locked by a physical key because if the power were to go out or anything similar and I had important items inside the unit such as my laptop I would be furious if I would not be able to retrieve it in a emergency situation. They didn’t offer plastic plates, bowls, or silverware I had to buy my own to keep at the unit to have for my lunches. Also, it is very nice they have a cafe on site and a gym yet I was never given access to the gym facility. Also, they did clarify after I moved in a month ago that I could buy something to block the windows in the unit it just can’t be against the glass and I think this place just wants to look pretty because there is no room for expression here I should have the ability to decorate anything inside my unit however I see fit as long as it doesn’t damage anything I don’t see a problem but that’s just me. I am furious because I am now being charged to pay the remaining balance for months I will not be inside the unit so STAY AWARE OF THIS PLACE. Not a terrible place but needs improvement like majority of companies.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.

While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, WorCPlaces may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with WorCPlaces.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • WorCPlaces - Lakeside operates during regular business hours, which are listed above. For any requests or requirements outside of these hours, please contact the coworking operator directly.
