Love the Switchyards model! This is one of my favorite locations within their network in Atlanta. Pros: bright natural lighting (in contrast to other locations that feel dark), there are a few shaded outdoor tables available, easy parking, and as with all locations abundant free coffee and stroopwafels Cons: no dedicated room at this location for quiet work, not much within walking distance if you want to grab a bite When I visited, the music didn’t seem like it was too loud or any different from the other Switchyards locations, so maybe they have addressed this in response to the other reviews

Great spaces to get some focused work done. I have attention deficit and I struggle working at home. This has be excellent for me. I'm able to get my work done and even get ahead of things. I love that there are several in the metro Atlanta area and we have access to all of them even those in other states. The only problem I have is people not respecting the quiet focus areas. There isn't anyone around to control that. It's not major and most people honor the rules, but it happens. Nevertheless, it has been a life savor for me.

Music is wayyyy too loud. I’ve already sent an email about it and I see many reviews also saying the same thing. There’s been no changes. Also the coffee is disgusting! Doesn’t seem worth the EXPENSIVE price at all. Going to be canceling my membership after this month is up.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.

  • Please reach out to Switchyards for more detailed information on membership options and pricing.

  • With a monthly membership, Switchyards - Westside offers 24/7 access to its workspace, allowing you to work at any hour that suits your schedule. Hourly and day passes, however, typically grant access during regular business hours only.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.
