Heinsch House was my lifesaver when going back to work with a baby at home. We started going there once or twice a week and now we're there every day. It makes my life so much easier, I get a lot of work done and my LO loves it there. It also allows me to continue breastfeeding.

This place has been a huge help for a work-from-home dad! I like the pay-as-you-go flexibility, and the caregivers are great at engaging the little ones with music, art, and play!

Heinsch House has been such a great fit for me and my baby! When I joined, I was struggling to get any work done — mostly squeezing in emails during naps or late at night. My baby had never spent any real time apart from me, so it was an adjustment at first, but I’m so grateful for Selina, whose patience and encouragement helped us both grow past the separation anxiety. Now, my baby barely lets me kiss her goodbye before crawling off happily to play. Both sides of the space are well set-up. The wall between the kid and adult spaces allows for enough separation to get work done, but cries and laughs still get through, so it’s easy to know how my baby is doing on the other side without feeling the need to look in. As a breastfeeding mom, it’s been so easy to take a quick break to nurse and check in with my baby, then back to work. I’ve also enjoyed the camaraderie with the other parents, who I now consider my work friends. Definitely glad I found Heinsch House!

I've been coming to the Heinsch House for over 5 months now and this is a total game changer! It's cliche and I'm sure others have mentioned this, but having dedicated time in an environment with minimal distractions has let me get things done that I would not have if working from home. This could have been possible with a nanny or bringing my kiddo to daycare, but the drop-off and pickup time lost adds up. I'm able to get to work with focus literally seconds after dropping my kiddo off, and all the other parents here are quiet, respectful, and super nice :-) My kiddo is genuinely happy when we're heading out of the house in the morning, and while the first few drop offs were a bit tough, now as soon as I put her down she runs (waddles slowly) to play with the staff. Everything is so relaxed and calm, exactly what we're looking for young daycare at this point in her life. When the weather is nice the kids are brought to an attached playground for outdoor time which is awesome too.

We've been daily at Heinsch House for about a month now and we love it so far! The work set up is very comfortable and usable, and the other working parents are really great to be around. It's usually pretty quiet and a helpful environment to work in. My child (6mo) seems really content here and definitely enjoys himself - the space is clean, safe, and with appropriate toys and books. I love that they have outdoor space and the kids have time in the fresh air, weather permitting. All the caretakers have been wonderful; they're attentive and encouraging. The owner Selina is a gem - accommodating, helpful, and welcoming; we're so grateful this is here!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.

  • Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Meeting rooms require prior reservation, and private offices are exclusively available to those with subscription packages. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to everyone. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with Heinsch House.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Heinsch House, who is more than happy to help out.
