Do not choose Phase Family Learning Center locations. Phase closed one of their locations without proper notice to staff and parents on July 2nd, 2 days after collecting tuition for the month of July. The Phase company is refusing to refund parents for their tuition money and they’re also not refunding the security deposits. Phase corporate employees are not answering a single email. Avoid Phase like the plague.

The mismanagement demonstrated by Phase & their CEO Sean Tegert throughout the shutdown of their DC franchise is truly remarkable - leaving parents without childcare & teachers without jobs on no notice. All the while not honoring the return of security deposits & tuition paid. See other reviews for specifics. While it may not have happened in Georgia yet, anyone considering sending their child to any Phase location should look elsewhere.

Beware before enrolling at any Phase location. Our family was part of the Phase DC community for years, and the teachers were absolutely incredible. Unfortunately, the way the DC location closure was handled by corporate leadership left a significant sense of disappointment and concern. At 7 p.m. on the eve of a holiday weekend, families and teachers were notified that the center would be closing effective immediately (7/2), leaving everyone scrambling for childcare, jobs, and countless unanswered questions. The DC staff deserved far better. I would encourage prospective families to carefully consider the organization’s communication, leadership, and stability before enrolling. In my experience, this situation did not reflect the values and mission the organization promotes.

As many other comments show, Phase's corporate office and CEO permanently closed the Washington DC location on a holiday weekend the day after collecting tuition. We now have zero notice to find a childcare solution for the rest of summer. Not only were we robbed of the great experience we had with our teachers, who have loved and taught both of our daughters, but by all indications we're being robbed of our tuition and deposit. Shameful.

Families considering any Phase Learning Center location should carefully evaluate how the company communicates during difficult situations. Our center abruptly closed after families were told just days earlier that it expected to remain open through the end of the month. The lack of notice created significant hardship, and many families are still seeking refunds for prepaid tuition and deposits. Transparency, accountability, and timely communication matter—our experience fell well short of those expectations.
