I agree with other 1-star reviews of this Regus location. Some issues stem from corporate, but most are specific to this site. I’ll highlight the worst problems. I used Regus for 7.5 years between here and Rocky Pointe. We moved here from Rocky Pointe for two adjacent, quiet offices. A few months later, with ~10 days’ notice, we were moved to non-comparable offices—one across the facility, the other on the main corridor. We moved everything ourselves over a weekend, including law books and files. New phones and internet didn’t work for days. Regus also erroneously flipped billing when we moved, charging less for the larger office and more for the smaller. We didn’t catch this for a while, causing problems later. Then COVID hit. The building locked down; no reception; no access. But rent was still due. Post-COVID, Regus adopted a new policy. The advertised “full-time reception” disappeared. Instead, they locked the front door and posted a sign telling visitors to call to be let in. This fails unless you’re there daily. You pay for a Regus facility to have a professional office. Here, clients often found locked doors. If we worked remotely, no receptionist helped. Clients were unhappy. This sporadic policy persisted into April 2025 for reasons unrelated to COVID. Another issue: how Regus handles invoices. The contract says rent is due on the invoice due date. Sounds simple. But Regus began issuing invoices a month early—e.g., October due September 15 and November due October 15. They charged late fees even when we paid on time. It happened to me. Despite proof of payment—card statements and receipts—Regus refused to remove the fee. Only after months and escalating to corporate with a legal threat did they remove one fee. Many likely give up without fighting back. Regus also does random facility “refreshes.” They require clearing your office and walls so they can paint and clean carpets. Great in theory, but there’s no opt-out. If you have files, books, or equipment, you must move it all again. Thankfully, during the last refresh, we were already moving out. But Regus still charged a mandatory cleaning/painting fee after we left—even though they’d just refreshed. Competitors don’t charge this fee. Phones, internet, water—don’t get me started. These went out constantly. There’s zero redundancy. A router failure took down internet for 3–4 days—no computers, no phones. No rent credit. Facilities issues were common—water outages, closed bathrooms, staffing shortages. Overnight packages and hand deliveries often sat unannounced at the front desk for days. When we dropped from two offices to one, we asked to give up the larger office. We then discovered Regus had swapped the rental rates years earlier when they moved us. The smaller office cost nearly double the larger. So maybe drop the smaller office and move that person into the larger one? Nope. They deemed the larger office “underpriced” and planned to raise the rate. Their solution: get a new office at market rate. The management’s pettiness and incompetence are unmatched in my 40+ years in business. This should give you an idea of what it’s like to work with this location. I was here over five years. If not for COVID, I would’ve gone back to Rocky Pointe. This place is awful. There are plenty of non-Regus competitors in Tampa and nearby Clearwater/St. Pete. I visited most when deciding where to go next. They’re comparably priced and include amenities Regus charges extra for—sodas, conference rooms, holiday parties, even food. Competitors run circles around Regus. Most have on-site franchisees who actually care. Regus relies on its name, but the market has changed in the last five to eight years.

This is a well deserved 1 star. I am a paying customer who had my signage taken down but accident. They performed an audit of signage and saw a previous account we had was closed so without any communication took down and threw away the sign. When I finally saw it and asked what happened nobody really seemed to care. I sent many emails and most went unanswered. I gave them many chances to make it right including reimbursement for the signage fees they charge me. To this day they still haven’t reimbursed me for this service we didn’t receive. We weren’t talking hundreds of dollars. It just shows me how much they don’t care.

Very clean and distinguished looking. It has numerous offices within the building. We found ours without any issues. The place is very quiet, has plenty of parking spaces available.

Regus has always been present for all of my needs and the receptionists are always professional when handling clients. They have exceeded the expectations and have always treated me with the utmost respect. I always look forward to greeting Kamila and Ashley in the morning and when I leave work for the day. Definitely recommend coming to regus!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Westshore Int'l Plaza is open during regular business hours listed above. For any other requirements, make sure to contact the operator directly.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Regus.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Regus, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.
