Birthday party for a friend's 25th big group. Separate tabs. Scummy waitress. I paid my tab in cash. $75 plus extra. Even though she said gratuity was included. After I left a friend in the group told me that the waitress said I "shorted" her. I gave $10 on top of my tab. She asked for another $5 from my friend. Which then gave her an total of extra $15 cash on top of the tip that's already included with everyone's tab. I think for staff they need to be trained for cash handling more. I should of been given a receipt I don't even know what her name was and she should've counted the cash in front of me instead of just pocketing it and walking away to the next tab. Horrible practice horrible person and staff.

Good service. Very average sushi and service is good. No sushi chefs are on the floor; food mysteriously comes from the back behind closed doors. Sushi is ok. I would say it's similar to the quality of sushi at Whole Foods or Publix. It's very dark inside and a good place of your date is nervous etc. :)

Good Fortune somehow manages to be a sushi restaurant, a sexy cocktail lounge, and the place you suddenly realize it’s been three hours and you don’t want to leave. The sushi was absolutely delicious, the DJ set the perfect mood, the bar had great energy, and the separate karaoke room is a fun bonus if you’re feeling brave. The staff were all incredibly friendly (and let’s be honest… ridiculously attractive), but our server Jack stole the show. Attentive without hovering, genuinely fun, and somehow always appeared exactly when we needed him. That’s a talent. If you’re looking for a place that’s equal parts great food and great atmosphere, Good Fortune is it. I’ll definitely be back—next time I may even wander into karaoke.
