Paloma House is truly the best! Sophie & Melissa are so welcoming and warm. They have, and continue to, work so hard to make this the best place it can be. You can see and tell they just pour their hearts into Paloma House. My son started playcare there at 3 months old. The nannies are so sweet and took such good care of him. We transitioned my son to full time daycare on Base at MacDill now, and we truly do miss the personalized and individualized care that the nannies were able to support at PH (ie following his general feeding and sleeping schedule). The workout classes are fun and tough. I also co-work there. I have no issues taking multiple video calls. They also put out snacks and have coffee, and we have access to a fridge (& freezer!) so I can put pumped milk and my lunch in it while I work. And I pump there regularly while working upstairs. Finding Paloma House after we moved to Tampa was such a treat. Overall, this is such a sweet community too and I highly recommend checking out some of their events or classes!
Great for event's plenty of room to get around. Great Baby shower today 🤗
TL,DR: Paloma House is exactly what every Mom needs to keep themselves sane! I was about 34wks pregnant when I attended the Paloma House Grand Opening - and I’m not gonna lie, the amount of “Pinterest Moms” in attendance scared me a little! The house is beautiful, clean and well-equipped so it makes sense that everyone would want to check it out. After my daughter was born, I attended a Postpartum Meet-Up when she was about 6wks old. And guess what? The Moms were normal people! They were funny, genuine and kind. I started to attend the workout classes and found that the instructors and other participants were just as normal! Sometimes I feel like a bit of an outcast (being an Army vet covered in tattoos), but from the jump Sophie and Melissa treated me so kindly. So if the “perfection” of the Paloma House worries you, please know that you will find your people. The workouts are all fantastic, the ladies working in the Playcare center are attentive and sweet, and the social events are really something special. The literal only downside is the limited parking lol. Come give it a try! You’ll be welcomed with open arms, no matter your age, race, religion or CCs of Botox 😉
Amazing venue for all types of events! Had my baby shower here and it was perfect, everyone raved about how beautiful it was and convenient as it has kid areas with toys to play with. So easy to work with the owners to get my vision to come to life! Highly recommend!
Paloma House is more than words can describe! The events, fitness classes, and just about almost everything is just phenomenal. The space is very calming and accommodating for mom and baby as early as 3 months. It provides so much support and community for all moms, especially first-time moms like myself. After being cooped up at home for 3 months, Paloma really gave me a space to feel like myself again and a breather from facing the same environment (my own home) daily As a working mom (unfortunately not remote), it would be wonderful if there are afternoon, evening, or even weekend fitness classes. Maybe even workshops on how to balance work life and baby caring, also how to transition from maternity leave to working again. I feel like because I work I am missing out on a lot of self-care and baby bonding time. I would love to still have support and community despite being a busy working mom. Other than that, Paloma House is a wonderful community and space. I highly recommend paying a visit and touring the space :)
