OFFICE LOGIC HAS NOT RETURNED MY COMPANY’S $1,600 SECURITY DEPOSIT OR $1,600 PREPAID LAST-MONTH PAYMENT—A TOTAL OF $3,200.
My company, Synergy Nest LLC, rented designated private Office C-10 from Office Logic at 1501 Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 501.
At the beginning of the arrangement, Office Logic collected $1,600 expressly designated as a security deposit and another $1,600 expressly designated as a last-month payment.
The original fixed term ended August 31, 2025. Office Logic later sent proposed renewal agreements for signature, but we did not sign them.
We gave written notice on October 11, 2025 that we would not continue using the office in November, confirmed our October 31 departure and forwarding address, and timely vacated the office.
Office Logic did not return either amount or provide a complete itemized accounting explaining any deduction or how the prepaid last-month payment was applied.
Its written agreement states that the security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after termination, subject to satisfaction of the agreement’s obligations.
We sent formal written demands. Office Logic’s founder then emailed asking how she could send the balance of the security-deposit refund. We immediately supplied payment instructions, but no payment followed.
Although our agreement was labeled a “Membership Agreement,” Office Logic’s public real-estate advertising describes the same Suite 501 premises as privately enclosed offices with monthly “Rental Rates.” A LoopNet listing titled “1501 Biscayne Blvd – Office Logic” advertises separately identified offices at monthly rates and classifies their use as “Office” or “Office/Retail.”
As of July 17, 2026, Office Logic has not returned the $3,200 or provided a complete accounting supporting its continued retention.
This review is based on our firsthand experience and written records. Prospective customers should carefully document all terms concerning termination, renewal, security deposits, last-month payments and refunds before paying. I will update this review if the matter is resolved.
