Regus - Miami Beach - Meridian Center

I'd enquired online and spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who booked me in for a tour and trial day. I received a confirmation email, so everything seemed straightforward. When I arrived the next day, the receptionist had no idea I was coming. She first sent me into a meeting room where two people were already in the middle of a meeting and clearly annoyed at being interrupted, which was embarrassing for everyone involved. She then told me that when I said I was there for a "trial", it meant I was trying to book a tennis court. I've used plenty of co-working spaces and have genuinely never had anyone confused by the term "trial day" before. The bigger issue was the attitude. The receptionist rolled her eyes, spoke down to me, and seemed more interested in making me feel like I was the problem than actually helping or getting business for her employer. She eventually found me a desk where I could take my calls, but didn't provide basic information like the wifi password or even where the bathrooms were. By that point, I'd already decided this wasn't somewhere I wanted to work or spend any more time. The space itself seemed okay, but a bit dark and dated. Customer service is everything, and after this I would never consider a Regus space again.

The best part about having a lounge membership is being able to work in any Regus office, but it can be hit and miss as they are all configured differently (plus access to Spaces as well). With that said, this is a review purely about the lounge at the Meridian Avenue Regus as I only have a lounge membership, and I only spend two days working here. The internet was fast enough, the office itself was clean, the location was amazing (even if I'd rather be on the beach), the staff was friendly. I got my work done, and I would definitely go back to this Regus.

Unbelievably dishonest and unprofessional. It’s so hard to reach customer service, even if you call within business hours (and that phone number was deeply hidden in the website). I’ve been trying to cancel my account for weeks now, and all I could do so far is submit a request for it to be cancelled, to which they responded ‘we confirm it’s still ongoing’. I’m sharing this as I continue trying to reach someone to talk to… so anyone who could come across this could at least think twice before giving Regus their business.
