Regus put me in a 2 year lease rather than a 1 year lease at renewal and would not address the error. At lease termination, Regus is withholding deposit for 60+ days which runs counter to Florida statute landlord/tenant law as well as Regus' own contract which stipulates that they will return deposit within 30 days. 'Service Retainer/Deposit: Your service retainer / deposit will be held by Us without generating interest as security for performance of all Your obligations under an agreement. All requests for the return must be made through Your online account or App after which the service retainer/deposit or any balance will be returned within 30 days to You once your agreement has ended and when You have settled Your account. We will deduct any outstanding fees and other costs due to Us before returning the balance to You. We will require You to pay an increased retainer if the monthly office or virtual office fee increases upon renewal, outstanding fees exceed the service retainer/deposit held, and/or You frequently fail to pay invoices when due.'

A Horrible Experience for Our Business If you’re thinking about using Regus for your office space, be warned. Our experience with them has been dreadful. First off, we kept getting charged for services we never used, like mail forwarding. No matter how many times we complained, those charges just kept showing up on our bill. Setting up autopay didn’t help either. Even with a valid payment method, our payments were somehow marked as missed, and we ended up with hefty late fees that made no sense. Regus tried to blame our bank, but it was clear their system was the problem. Their approach to collecting payments was aggressive and intimidating. We received threats for tiny amounts, warning us about credit reports and debt collectors. It felt like harassment. On top of that, they restricted our access to services, which really disrupted our operations. Customer service was another nightmare. Every time we reached out for help, we were met with indifference and no real solutions. It was clear they didn’t care about resolving our issues. Overall, Regus has been a nightmare. Their billing practices are deceptive, their fees are unfair, and their customer service is awful. If you value your peace of mind and your business, steer clear of Regus.

Our experience with Regus has been shockingly negative, especially concerning their predatory billing practices. As business owners, we expected a professional and transparent service, but what we encountered was far from it. Here’s a detailed account of the severe issues we faced: - Deceptive Billing Practices: Regus billed us 15 days before the actual billing period began. This premature billing is not only deceptive but also a blatant attempt to manipulate our cash flow to their advantage. - Unjustified and Fraudulent Charges: We were repeatedly charged for mail services we never requested or utilized. Despite numerous complaints, these fraudulent charges were never rectified, showcasing a significant lack of integrity. - Incompetent Autopay Management: Despite having autopay set up with a valid payment method, Regus continuously reported missed payments. This either indicates gross incompetence or a deliberate strategy to impose additional fees on clients. - Excessive and Unjust Late Fees: Every billing cycle, we faced exorbitant late fees, even though our payments were made on time. This suggests a systematic effort to inflate their revenue through unjust fees. - Aggressive Debt Collection Threats: We received multiple notifications threatening to report minor debts (as low as USD 36.87) to credit bureaus and engage debt collection agencies or law firms if we did not respond within 3 days. This aggressive and disproportionate response is designed to intimidate and harass. - Service Restrictions: Along with these threats, we were informed that our account was overdue, and our services and office access were restricted, causing unnecessary disruption to our business operations. - Appalling Customer Service: Efforts to resolve these issues with Regus’s customer service were met with indifference and a total lack of accountability. Their dismissive attitude towards customer concerns is unacceptable and unprofessional. In summary, Regus operates with predatory practices, exploiting customers through misleading billing, unjust fees, and aggressive collection tactics. We strongly urge fellow business owners to avoid Regus at all costs to protect your business from these unscrupulous practices.
