I thought I would want to work remotely forever due to the COVID pandemic but the Industrious site at the Homer Building in Washington DC has changed my mind. Not only is it a beautiful workspace but the Industrious team of Marcus and Angela makes me look forward to coming to work everyday. The wonderful bonus of meeting and networking with other businesses adds to the thought partners you may have if you have a small business like me. UPDATE: It’s 3 years later and things have changed. Suddenly, I am no longer there but that’s a longer story for another place. Let’s just say some stars have been removed.

Industrious in the Homer Building is a fabulous, versatile, and friendly co-working space. My company had a two month gap between offices so I needed co-working space in downtown Washington. Industrious had a great choice of spaces -- tables, long desks, small booths for calls. They had great snacks, events, free sodas, the best office coffee, and a sparkling water dispenser. Marcus and Angela made the effort to know me and make me feel welcome. My company moved to a new office in December, and it lacks most of the perks at Industrious. The location, on top of Metro Center, is ideal.

We're so grateful to have our TEDxLogan Circle home at the Homer Industrious. The past few months not only made our work and operation so much more at ease but also seamless thanks to their beautiful offices access and having such great care and support on-site. Being there regularly means I get to see how others are also here regularly and enjoying the space. If you are looking for a co-working space, we highly recommend this as your new office home.

This is a great coworking space- not just for the space itself but also for the management of this Industrious location. Marcus and Angela make an effort to know your name, communicate in a timely manner about building updates, and they respond to needs efficiently and with a true community feel. There are lots of private offices in the space, and it’s on the top floor of the building so most offices and all common areas get significant natural light. Angela makes delicious breakfasts and snacks every day that are included in membership, and the coffee and tea and beverage selection is surprisingly good. There’s a nice gym in the building and bike parking, a wellness/pumping room that’s outfitted with everything you could need, and in-building parking (paid, but with a valet), a sweetgreen outpost, and an epic rooftop. I’ve gotten more done having an office here than I have in a long time- highly recommended!
