Hera Hub is a coworking space and business accelerator located at 5028 Wisconsin Ave. NW in Washington, D.C.’s Friendship Village neighborhood. The area surrounding the building is highly walkable and you can complete most tasks without needing a car to get around. Several bus stops can also be found outside the building, connecting Hera Hub to major areas of Washington, D.C. A complex cycling infrastructure is also at your disposal if you wish to bike your way to Hera Hub.
By joining the Hera Tribe, you’ll receive access to a community of like-minded, ambitious women who are supportive of each other’s businesses and are working on moving their dreams forward. The Hera Tribe is open to individuals who wish to contribute to this community and who would, in turn, like to access the support of this group. Notably, it’s not a place to sell your products or be worried about your competition, but rather is meant for those who believe that collaboration is key to long-term success.
Specifically, Hera Hub membership packages grant you access to a network of supportive, entrepreneurial women who can provide strategic alliances and online support through the available services. Plus, discounted packages for private rooms and meeting spaces are also available to Hera Hub members, along with free entry to community events. And, GURUs (various subject matter experts) regularly provide support as a free resource to serve the community.
Finally, members and non-members alike can rent out spaces here to host their own events. In particular, meetings rooms are meant for holding presentations or business meetings for teams of up to four people, whereas conference rooms are boardroom- or classroom-style with one offering seating for 10, while the other has enough space to host 16 people. Otherwise, the on-site event space is approximately 1,750 square feet in size and can seat up to 70 individuals.

There are 81 coworking spaces available right now in Washington. However, if you broaden your search region to better match the location of your home or explore a certain area of interest, you’ll likely find additional options as some coworking spaces are also available outside of the major commercial areas in the suburbs.
Are there any pet-friendly coworking spaces in Washington?
There are coworking spaces in Washington that accept pets so you can bring your four-legged companion and keep them nearby while you work. When looking at the available options, narrow your search to ensure that you pick a pet-friendly location by selecting the “pet-friendly” filter. If you’re still unsure, reach out to the operator and ask them about this policy.
What types of coworking spaces are available?
Most coworking spaces in Washington offer a variety of working configurations that accommodate both individual employees and larger teams. So, whether you need a desk in an open area for occasional use or a dedicated one to work from on a more regular basis, there are several options available. Additionally, teams of different sizes can get more privacy in private offices, while meeting rooms are ideal for hosting presentations or meeting with clients.
Can I visit or tour the coworking space before making a decision?
Coworking spaces frequently let you visit the facility before committing to any kind of membership. Some even offer virtual tours that you can view from the comfort of your home. These tours allow you to see the space’s layout and the many working arrangements, as well as the design as a whole. By doing so, you can determine whether the space meets your demands in order to make a wise choice.
Can I book a coworking space by the hour? How about for a day/month?
Yes, most coworking spaces in Washington offer flexible booking options. However, while monthly rates are commonly available, not all operators offer daily bookings. Hourly rates are typically reserved for meeting rooms and are less commonly used for general workspace access.
