I wish I could leave a better review of this space. It's absolutely the most convenient office space for me and for the first several months where I was a member, it was excellent. However, in June or so 2025 they moved the "coworking" office to a spot where there was a whistling HVAC. It is LOUD and absolutely impossible to focus there, I'd honestly rather try and work at a coffee shop. I asked for it to be repaired several times, explaining that the office is unusable to me until it's fixed, and kept getting very vague answers on when it would be fixed. Whistling HVAC is usually not that hard of a fix - listening ot it, it is really clearly just some sort of air leak or clogged filter. There's zero reason why this kind of repair should take FIVE MONTHS to make. They also used to have a larger space with more options, and if that had stayed the case then this wouldn't have been a big deal - but that's now the only place to work if you want an ergonomic setup (I have back issues and the whole point of an office space was to have a nice setup; if I wanted to work at a random work table or couch I'd do it at home!) I wish that this would have worked out. The staff are perfectly nice and they have nice amenities like snacks, printers, conference rooms etc. It's just not worth the money if you can't actually *work* there!

It's not 100% bad, but honestly my experience here has been overwhelmingly negative. I'd say save yourself the trouble and find a better coworking space. Most of it is little stuff: The kitchen is poorly equipped (plenty of coffee mugs, but just paper plates and paper bowls for lunch); it's cold in the winter; the snacks are hardly worth getting up for (cheap crap from costco most days, with the occasional exception); the chairs are super uncomfortable, optimized for chic magazine-cover aesthetics over actual usability. A little bit more important is the flaky internet, which I've struggled with since I got here. I've had to continually move around the facility to chase elusive solid connections. The worst, though, is that when I signed up in January, I specifically informed them that I was moving out of the area at the end of February. The sales person told me to just cancel the membership at the end of the month, but for some reason I interpreted that as "at the beginning of the next cycle". When I went to cancel today (the first business day of February), they happily informed me that they'd be charging me for the entire month of March ($332) and there was nothing I could do about it, despite the fact that it would be physically impossible for me to utilize my membership. The tone in the email almost made me feel like they were high-fiving in the background, having caught another sap on a yet another stupid technicality. Like I said, just don't bother. There are better places out there with better people staffing them.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Want to get a feel for the workspace before signing up? Schedule a tour to experience Industrious - 14 Ridge Square NW and envision your workday in this dynamic environment. All you need to do is fill out this form, indicating your preferred date and time, and we'll be happy to host you.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Industrious.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Industrious, who is more than happy to help out.
