Basecamp is a fantastic place to work in the Farmington Valley. Locally owned and beautifully decorated, it has everything one needs to work outside the home - whether you want a private office, a dedicated office, a hot seat desk, or a conference room for a meeting. There is even a podcast studio! I have been a member of Basecamp for over a year and I love the location and vibe.

I have been a member of Basecamp since they opened, and I could not be more pleased. As a remote worker, it's refreshing to have a change of scenery from the isolated home office and come to a truly beautiful and well-thought-out space like Basecamp. Everyone is so pleasant, and the proprietors are consistently friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Hartford Baking Co. or Starbucks for your morning coffee, Naples Pizza or Fork & Fire for your lunch break. The only thing I missed from my home office was my dual monitor setup, but they recently added several monitors in the hot seat area — jackpot! At this point, there's nowhere I'd rather work from.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.

  • With a monthly membership, Franklin County Co-Working offers 24/7 access to its workspace, allowing you to work at any hour that suits your schedule. Hourly and day passes, however, typically grant access during regular business hours only.

  • Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Meeting rooms require prior reservation, and private offices are exclusively available to those with subscription packages. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to everyone. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with Franklin County Co-Working.

  • Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.

While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, Franklin County Co-Working may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.
