Paid $1,600 deposit for a private office at York Street Depot that was never delivered. We signed a lease for Unit #7 starting October 1, 2025, and paid in full weeks ahead. Before the lease even began, they refused to provide access, refused to refund the deposit, and then demanded four months of rent up front that was never part of the signed agreement. When I tried to resolve this professionally, they became defensive and uncooperative. My team even went in person to discuss, and they confirmed they would not return the deposit and would not let us move in. As a business owner, I’ve never experienced anything like this. They kept our money, denied possession, and broke the agreement we both signed. I’ll be pursuing this in small claims court so others don’t go through the same. Strongly recommend extreme caution before signing anything here.
