Creative Density Uptown is the best coworking spot in Denver. It's got cozy fireplaces, a great location within walking distance of everything, and the charm of a big old Denver house. Their rates are the most flexible and affordable in town. Not to mention the members are the friendliest around. There's a core group of folks who have been at the space for many years, plus plenty of newcomers, and everyone is super welcoming. Case in point: everyone gets a standing invite for weekly Friday lunch. Bottom line: Creative Density is everything you want from a coworking space (free keg!) and none of the corporate/hipster BS.

Creative Density has been my second home since 2012. I visited from Sweden 3 months at the time and needed an office space with 24/7 access to be able to work GMT hours. After moving permanently to Denver in 2013 I became a full time member and have been coming in ever since. Creative Density was where I built my professional network during my first couple of years in Denver and several of my closest friends are previous, or current, members. Craig really lives by the core value "Friendly, not fancy". Though the Lone Tree location is pretty darn fancy! You can go to other spaces and pay more for fancier amenities, but the friendly, laid back, culture is what pulls me back year after year.

We moved to Denver in May of 2021 and after a month of working in coffee shops I started looking for coworking spaces. I was so surprised to find that we had, by some stroke of luck, moved into an apartment 1 block from Creative Density. I signed up for a tour online, received a great & friendly tour from Craig, and signed up the same day. Being so close was obviously an immediate driver in choosing Creative Density but I would recommend working here even if you get here via bike ride, scooter ride, drive, or a longer walk because the atmosphere and people are absolutely fantastic. I have had many, many great conversations while enjoying charcuterie or fika lunches. I highly recommend the Creative Density Uptown location. It's in a beautiful old house located in a great area for afternoon walks to reset and a short walk to many lunch options.

This space is incredible! I decided to try out coworking for the first time ever (October 2021) after switching over to full-time freelancing last year. Honestly, I wish I had tried it out sooner, and that's all thanks to Creative Density. Everyone at the space is friendly, the vibe is relaxed and respectful, and the space is well designed and thought out (not to mention extremely easy parking, central location, 2 fireplaces, weekly coffee and pastries, Friday lunches, etc.). On busier days, it's easy to find a desk that's quiet without any distractions, and on days that are lighter, there is always someone to chat or grab a coffee with. And on top of all that, I've become genuine friends with a lot of the members. Creative Density (most especially the Uptown space) has made an otherwise isolating freelance career both enjoyable and sustainable.

Alright, I love this place. Came to Denver for ~6mo & this quickly became my second home -- a productive little safe haven I could always escape to. As a freelancer with a wonky schedule, CD has everything I need -- convenient location, 24-hr access, very reasonable prices, a nice little porch to read & sip coffee on... But best of all, of course, is the culture. Kudos to Craig for setting the tone, and everyone else follows suit. Everyone I brushed shoulders with was so open & pleasant -- it's precisely the energy you want to surround yourself with.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Creative Density (Denver).
-
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
-
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Creative Density (Denver), who is more than happy to help out.
-
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.
