I don’t know who this gentleman is, but I want to give him his props. He’s a pretty tall guy. Every time there’s an emergency or something going on at the building, he’s always there. I see him talk to residents and Chris and the leasing team a lot. I’ve seen him here early morning walking around the property and even the middle of the night escorting people away from the property. I did see him talking to a lot of residents at the Thanksgiving event, but that was the only social time I’ve seen him around. I’ve even seen him get punched kicking this huge group out and help security put a guy in handcuffs. Not to mention he’s always helping with maintenance stuff. I don’t know who that big guy is, but props to you and all you do. Even if it’s from the shadows. Update...after talking to residents, I learned that his name is Dell like the computer haha. Also learned that he's the one that helps with access for the building. We appreciate you Dell and all that you do!!! Update…Yo Dell!!! Idk if you see these, but I was told you took on maintenance supervisor with Sam as the assistant! That’s dope!!! People have been saying you’ve been getting work orders done and helping make the property better in ways that us residents can’t imagine! A resident said you reached out to them about their AC that was down for months and you got it fixed within two days! I even talked to think Access mode and they said you’re always there helping fix things in the coworking area! Man if there’s anything us residents can do to help you get a raise and show our appreciation, please let me know! You help make this building safe and worth being here!

Honestly from the amazing tour by TJ to living here, I've had nothing but a great experience, first and foremost i want to thank TJ for how friendly and hard working he is and second i want to thank the property manager for conducting a welcoming community, cannot wait for this journey!

The leasing agent Ty was super helpful and well informed on this property as well as the units! Knew a lot of little things that really do make a difference in day to day life! Also had really great energy and seemed genuinely excited to show me around! Thank you Ty!!

It’s a big upgrade in terms of amenities and what you get for your money compared to my old spot. I unfortunately had to downgrade to a studio from a 1 bed at my last place. I’m not thrilled to be in a studio but I’m glad it’s the floor plan that I have right now. The views from the breezeway apartments are of your neighbors doing a variety of different things rated G to X. So I recommend keeping your blinds down as depressing as that can be because you lack a lot of privacy. If you have plants, get a UV light or THEY WILL die. The gym is great and basically 2 floors. I’m giving 4 stars because it took them over a month to have some painters come through and paint the walls near the cardio/elliptical area which caused it to be taped off and unable to use for that timeframe. Ended up losing some of what I worked hard for because of that. Pool and hot tub are great. Business center is huge. Wish the coffee was free like other places I’ve lived. Also wish the cut off wasn’t 10pm for amenities - why not 12-1am for Friday and Saturday? Security is 24/7 so I don’t see why this would be an issue. The security guards now are much nicer than the ones from a few months ago which I appreciate. The location is great, it’s next to pretty much everything. A lot of restaurants, bars, clubs, next to the field so if you like baseball you can just walk over. The parking is kind of terrible, though. You can choose to be put on a waitlist for their $215 or so / month parking garage or you can go online and try to find cheaper spots around the area. It can just be a pain which is something to keep in mind because the pricing for garages in the area will easily have you spending $2400+ per year. Overall, it’s a nice place to live and I’m glad that this is my final apartment complex before I leave the state next year. You can’t go wrong with Velaris.

I would give this a 0 if I could. The rooms are cramped and any amount of furniture makes the space feel half as big. The interior facing units are cheap but feel like you’re living in a prison. There’s almost 0 natural light. Something in the amenities is always broken or under construction. Management is impossible to get a hold of and even more difficult to get to do anything. They DO NOT honor the rent referral credit for people you introduce to the building as well, my friends I referred moved in 6 months ago and I can’t even get a response from management about my credit via email, and I was immediately deflected when I asked in person. That’s $300 they promised and never delivered on. There’s nothing within walking distance except a population of homeless vagrants, and I watched numerous drug deals happen from the gym overlooking the parking lot next door. When the Rockies come into town good luck getting anywhere, and they have 100+ home games a season. Parking is a nightmare, if you can get off the building’s 6 month wait list they charge you $275 a month for the privilege of not having to get begged for money walking home, and that’s not even for a reserved spot. In summary, find something else.
